Watchfire provides automated website testing, analysis, and security software. Japan Entry signed an exclusive distributor and identified three very large reference customers, as well as hired the first Japan Country Manager as well as his successor.

Ingrian

Ingrian manufactures a database encryption appliance. Japan Entry signed an exclusive distributor including a $300K prepayment.

MagiQ

MagiQ Technologies develops Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) encryption appliances for short-haul fiber optical networks. Japan Entry signed a distribution agreement with Ciena's #1 distributor worldwide and cross-pollinated OEM and government customer prospects.

McAfee (Network Associates)

Network Associates is a provider of network security and management software. Negotiated strategic partnerships with two partners that each dedicated 20 staff, leading to $30M in incremental revenue in the following 14 months. Each made a strategic investment of $4M in the Japan subsidiary. Japan Entry worked in strict confidentiality to avoid impacting existing sales channels negatively. Developed business plans, garnered commitments of staffing and financial resources, and managed smooth hand-off to the client's Japanese subsidiary.

Passlogix

Passlogix is a provider of Single Sign-On security. Identified multiple top-tier SIs strong in the financial services field.
