CE-based mobile terminal system. Japan Entry succeeded in creating
Insignia's first ever sale and customer reference, helping to
validate the technology. Japan Entry also hired Insignia Japan's
Country Manager, who after four successful years, became the Country
Manager of Symbian Japan following Insignia's acquisition by Esmertec.

image processing technology that enables mobile scanning of drawings
and text. Applications for this technology include mobile messaging,
gaming, and personal productivity. Identified, negotiated, and
brought to conclusion multimillion euro licensing deal with Sanyo
Electric Co., Ltd. for embedding Realeyes3D's w-Postcard(tm) and
Digitizer(tm) handwritten messaging applications, re-branded by
SANYO as Pasha Moji(tm) card and Pasha Moji(tm) memo, for integration
in its camera phones.
Also closed licensing deal with DoCoMo Technology Inc., the technology
innovation arm of NTT DoCoMo, for Qipit mobile scanning technology.
